About us

Safedrive Africa Foundation (SDAF) NGO for road safety in Kenya is a non-profit organisation registered with NGOs Coordination Board under the NGOs Coordinating Act of 1990, Ministry Of State for National Heritage and Culture.

The Safedrive Africa Foundation was founded as a result challenges facing vulnerable road users amongst them young people age 5 to 35, we facilitate road safety workshops, programs to increase knowledge of youth to Change road use behavior, raising awareness, Advocacy, Lobbying, Community Events Outreach, and road safety awareness campaigns among young people of the extent of death and injury on our roads, and empower vulnerable road users to prevent it through careful use of roads.We work with Local Authorities; Road Safety Partnerships, Police Forces, Fire and Rescue Services, and other organisations to showcase road safety campaigns throughout the Country.

We co-ordinate various road safety campaigns among young people,support traumatized affected traffic victims and young drivers empowerment between our partners and stakeholders,to ensure that the campaigns reach the widest possible audience. With the ever-increasing constraints on budgets, road safety professionals find it harder to meet on statutory obligation to reduce accidents and injuries on our roads. We appeal to well-wishers, supporters, including corporate for important road safety campaigns from the business sector, sponsorship with carefully selected corporate sponsors who are equally committed to reducing accidents on our roads.

On our campaigns page you will find information on road safety campaigns locally and internationally, we have coordinated in partnership with Kenya Ministry of Transport, National Transport and Safety Authority, Local Authorities, other stakeholders and committed corporate sponsors. We would like to thank those organisations for their untiring work in the continuing fight to reduce fatalities and injuries on our nation’s roads.
