Awareness training for Egyptian

As part of its public awareness activities, The foundation held a conference workshop on road safety to the Egyptian Nationals and other Arabs .

Participants attended a a 4 Hour road safety session that was given by Safedrive Africa Foundation and a discussion was held about road safety promotion.

Mr.Mutashi emphasized the importance of the use of seat belt, Traffic lights, lane discipline, eg; dangers of speeding, driving under the influence and other safety issues as the aim of championing road safety to save lives within the intra gulf states.

Driver Improvement Program (DIP) with Braeburn International Schools-Kenya

The foundation gave the DIP http://braeburn.com/ .The theoretical training that was conducted for around 33 employee to improve their knowledge and public awareness #SafeKidsLives driving behavior and attitudes, providing training in defensive driving and to provide sufficient information to understand the mechanisms of trauma and how to avoid preventable injuries. All participant received certificate of participation from the foundation, for more visit http://www.savekidslives2015.org/ .

Trainees at the end of the course are committed to improve the following: Obeying all traffic rules and regulations and Influence other drivers to respect them,Identify driving hazards understand defensive driving techniques,Prevent Road traffic related crashes and injuries that could be faced on roads,Prevent Road traffic related injuries, especially those related to vulnerable road users (pedestrian)
